About this calculator

This calculator finds the antilogarithm — the reverse of taking a log — by raising a chosen base to the power of the value you enter (antilog₁₀(x) = 10^x, for example). It's the inverse operation you need whenever you have a logarithm and want the original number back.

It comes up in chemistry when converting pH back to hydrogen ion concentration, in acoustics when converting decibels back to sound intensity, and in engineering and math coursework whenever a log-based formula needs to be reversed. Choose base 10, base e (natural antilog), or a custom base.
