About this calculator
Recipes, formulas and industrial mixes are often specified as a parts ratio — like 3:1 or 5:2:1 — rather than as percentages. Converting is just a matter of dividing each part by the sum of all parts: for a 3:1 ratio, the total is 4 parts, so the first component is 75% and the second is 25% of the finished blend.
This calculator does that division for you, turning any number of ratio parts into the percentage each component contributes to the whole.
