About this calculator

This calculator generates a list of future dates from a start date and a repeating interval — every N days, every N weeks, or every N months — the same logic that underlies recurring events in calendar software and recurring billing cycles. Calendar apps store this pattern with a recurrence rule (the RRULE field defined in the iCalendar standard, RFC 5545), which encodes the frequency and interval so the app can expand it into individual occurrences on demand instead of storing every date.

People use this kind of date math to plan things like biweekly paychecks, monthly rent due dates, quarterly maintenance schedules, or every-other-Tuesday meetings — you enter a start date, the interval (in days, weeks, or months), and how many occurrences you want, and it lists each resulting date in order.
