This tool strips every empty line and every line containing only whitespace (spaces, tabs) from a block of text, splitting the input on line breaks, filtering out lines that are empty after trimming, and rejoining what remains.

Blank lines accumulate for mundane reasons — pasted content, exported CSV or log files, code that mixes tabs and spaces, or text copied from a PDF or word processor — and they clutter output that needs to be compact, such as configuration files, mailing lists, or data prepared for import into another tool.

Paste any text and this tool returns the cleaned version along with a count of how many lines were removed and how many were kept, so you can confirm nothing but blank lines was touched.
