13th Month Pay Calculator

About this calculator

13th month pay is a mandatory year-end bonus required by law in a number of countries — including the Philippines, Brazil, and several others — typically calculated as one-twelfth of an employee's total basic salary earned during the calendar year. For an employee who worked the full year, that works out to roughly one extra month of salary.

For employees who did not work the entire year — new hires or those who left partway through — the payment is prorated based on the number of months actually worked, rather than paid in full. This calculator takes the monthly salary and months worked to compute the prorated 13th-month bonus owed for the year.
