About this calculator

A vCard is a standardized text file format — defined by IETF specifications — for exchanging contact information between devices and applications, readable by essentially every phone, email client, and address book. Version 3.0 structures a contact as a block of tagged fields (FN for full name, TEL, EMAIL, ORG, and so on) wrapped between BEGIN:VCARD and END:VCARD lines.

This tool builds that exact structure from a name, phone number, email, and organization, producing plain text that can be saved as a .vcf file or shared directly. It's used any time contact details need to move cleanly between systems — attaching a signature-ready contact card to an email, generating a QR code that opens straight into a phone's contacts app, or exporting a business card's details in a format that any device can import without retyping.
