About this calculator

Tiered volume pricing is a common B2B and wholesale pricing model where the unit price drops as order quantity crosses defined thresholds — for example, $10/unit under 100 units, $9/unit from 100–499, and $8/unit at 500+ — rewarding larger orders with a lower effective price rather than applying a single flat discount rate.

This calculator applies your quantity against a tiered discount schedule and shows the total cost, the final effective unit price, and how much you saved compared to the base price. It's used on both sides of a deal: sales teams and pricing managers structuring quantity-break pricing to incentivize bigger orders, and procurement buyers figuring out exactly how much they'd save by bumping an order up to the next pricing tier.
