About this calculator
Batching a cocktail means scaling every ingredient from a single-serving recipe up to a large-format volume — a pitcher, punch bowl, or bottle — by multiplying each ingredient by the same factor (target servings ÷ original servings), then converting the result into millilitres and litres for easy pouring or bottling.
Bartenders prepping for a busy service, caterers and event planners pre-mixing drinks for a wedding or party, and home hosts making punch all rely on batch math to keep the flavor balance of a cocktail identical at 1 serving or 50 — a proportion error that's barely noticeable in one glass becomes obvious (and expensive) at scale.
