This calculator multiplies every ingredient amount by the ratio of your target servings to the recipe's original servings — doubling a 4-serving recipe to 8 servings multiplies every quantity by 2, while scaling to 6 servings multiplies by 1.5.

Home cooks use it to adjust a recipe for a bigger or smaller dinner party, meal-preppers use it to batch-cook a week's worth of a single dish, and bakers use it carefully since baking ratios are less forgiving than general cooking when scaled up or down.
